Beginning in the summer of 2018 the St. John Fisher College Sport Management program awarded the inaugural gifts of the Student Experiential Learning Fund to a select number of students.  These students received financial support for their travel, lodging, or incidental expenses incurred during developmental opportunities.  The program plans to award such gifts on a rolling basis for developmental opportunities that could include, but are not limited to, industry experiences, study abroad programs, professional conference attendance, and any other program enhancing their professional profiles. By design, these funds do not support the subsidizing of tuition expenses related to courses, but instead ancillary expenses related to experiences. The objective is to provide financial assistance for undergraduate students with unique experiential learning opportunities that may not be available to them without support.

Sport Management majors who attended Fisher on a full-time basis within the past calendar year are eligible to receive support under this program.  Students are welcome to apply for funding multiple times, and while all submissions will be given equal attention, priority will be given to those students seeking their first grant.
